France releases Russian lawmaker Kerimov on 5 mln euro bail
MOSCOW, Nov 23 (PRIME) -- Russian billionaire and lawmaker Suleiman Kerimov will not be put in custody, but must stay in France and pay a five million euro bail, Nice prosecutor Jean-Michel Pretre told PRIME on Thursday.
The court ruled that Kerimov must turn in his passport, check with the police several times a week and stay in the Alpes-Maritime county.
On Monday, Kerimov was detained by the French police on suspicion of aggravated laundering of tax fraud proceeds.
